Christmas Shopping
As July fast approaches us schools begin to break up and people start to go away for their summer holidays. On the other hand there is another group of people that have abandoned going on holiday and are already planning their Christmas shopping list. Buy why are they doing it? And is it something that is essential?
People are now doing it more then ever because of the current credit crisis situation and scare. Everyone knows that Christmas time is the most expensive time of the year, I mean you have to buy presents for the whole family and most of your close friends, its bound to set you back at least one months wages.
So folk are starting to purchase early, they are literally going out and thinking that if they do their shopping in the summer then they will be able to get things for a lot less and save a massive amount of cash in the process. Personally I feel that it is wrong to do this, we have different times of the year for a reason. Christmas is supposed to be an enjoyable and fulfilling time, it is not meant to be about worrying all year. How are you meant to enjoy the special day if you are worrying?
Plus you will be missing out on the rush you get when you go for a Christmas shop. People love going to town and shopping around for gifts when there is Christmas lights and Christmas trees all over the place. It just puts you in a great mood about it all.
