Plenty of Traffic Updates Helping You Avoid Jams

I travel a lot for my job. And nothing is more of a pain than getting lost, or stuck in traffic when I have a crucial meeting to get to. Know the thing?

And, when I chose to solve my problem and finally get round to buying myself a nuvi, traffic problems were already top of my list!

I need to confess that I did not know anything about the best GPS choices, when I started to look. I took a pal’s advice and checked out the numerous models available from Garmin. What great advice.

It looks to me that Garmin have made just the right combo of style and quality delivery. With the Garmin 1450T, I get totally what it says on the box – regular traffic updates, wherever I am going.

Gone are the times of trying hard to see street names, finding I’m in the wrong lane and stopping strangers to ask directions. The Garmin quality shines through. From excellent features like the “Where am I?” instant position finder to the “Lane Assist” with junction view, as well as clear voice directions that give me masses of time to prepare myself for the next turn, I have a lot to thank Garmin for.

Here are the things I love about my Garmin 1450T. First, it’s simple to kick-off and to plan new routes. The touchscreen is sensitive, and when you respond to the easy questions, off it goes and plans my route. Add to this its smooth body and 5-inch wide screen, and I have success with that unfamiliar new trip I’m taking.

Second, the traffic updates are so helpful, I can’t tell you how much more straightforward my working days were. Every minute or two, my Garmin 1450T gets news about traffic updates on my route: (these are FREE for the life of my nuvi). If any accidents, construction works or other holdups are informed, it plans alternate routes and tells my about them. How cool is that?

Let me tell you, when you’re driving round a new city or town, this info is precious.

In fact, I’ve found my Garmin 1450T to be such a helpful gizmo that I bought one for my wife! Sure, she doesn’t have to drive as much as me. But she hates getting stuck in traffic either. We should be blunt. Who does?

She stunned me the other day by telling me that she likes the “Lane Assist” feature most of all. To be fair, she has never been the most confident driver. So it is smart that being told which lane to be in, long before reaching a complicated junction, is keeping her delighted.

Not to mention that is has a great fixing mechanism, letting her easily take off her windscreen and fit it into her purse, and even her pocket.

I feel much more comfortable, realizing that she will straight away find the nearby emergency services, hospitals, police stations and fuel stations on her travels. What extraordinary peace of mind! And all thanks to the features built into her Garmin 1450T…

My pick of Garmin nuvi has been one of the greatest things I have got in a long time. My working days (and holiday trips) have never been smoother.

I’ve waved “so long” to getting lost in new towns, and wasting time in traffic nightmares. I’m sure you’ll enjoy the advantagesbenefits of the Garmin 1450T.
