I was some what annoyed over the weekend – my iron decided that it no longer wanted to work – charming! This, of course, meant that I would need to purchase a new iron which is far from an exciting prospect – unless you are a lover or collector of irons! In this article I will be writing about the way in which I managed to buy this iron – a way, which in the end proved to be some what easier than what I thought it would have been.
Now being your typical man I am a person that is not that keen on shopping – in fact I really do struggle to understand why people, especially women, love it so much. For me it surely must be because they have no other interests or hobbies in their life – well this is the only reason that I can think of.
The thought of having to travel to the high street, attempt to find somewhere to park my car and to then have to battle through the crowds of people to buy such an item was not a good thought.
But then I had a brain wave – no it was not to ask my mother or sister to buy it for me; it was to buy it online.
This is what I did do and not only did it save me all of the hassle as explained above but I managed to buy one at what I believed was a real bargain price.
When I spoke to my mother about what I had bought and about the price that I had paid she was quite amazed at just how cheap I had managed to purchase the iron for – especially as it was a decent make.
