The first thing you must acquire are the equipments in photography.You should have the best probducts out there so that you would have wuality products.You would not have good output if you are just going to buy some camera out there which is of not good quality.  In my San Diego photographer business it has helped me take better pictures. Of course this is coming from my experience as a wedding photographer San Diego.  So I have had to deal with couples who had to worry about budget.But I also met couples who do not worry about the price.  Of course if money is tight you can’t get an expensive photographer.A couple can’t do anything if that would be the case.  They don’t have a choice in regards to how much they can spend.  But if they do some interviewing they still can choose a good photographer.All they have to do is be patient and go and interview photographers.

When most couples start laying out their wedding plans, the location is one of the important things to consider.  For those couples that can afford it going to a different city is an exciting option.San Diego is a city that has a lot of reasons that make it come to mind for this.  Now of course this is going to come from first hand experience working with a lot of couples as a San Diego photographer. So the experience I have gained brings a great insight to the table.

One of the major reasons is the weather.  Most weddings are done in the summer. Well in general a lot of the places are going to be hot in the summer. One of those places that is bearable is San Diego.The weather is really very comfortable on the coast.  This also is a great reason because of your photography.  As a San Diego wedding photographer I appreciate good weather.It gives chances for some great shots to be taken.It gives you an environment that is a great shooting arangement. Where all the people in the wedding won’t be uncomfortable because of the heat.

Another reason is San Diego is a great event location.  It has plenty of nice hotels to accomodate your guests.It has a bunch of things to do so if your guests want they can have a mini vacation. But one of the biggest things they fail to plan for on the wedding day is the photographer. This is no small issue.  And I am not just saying it because I am a wedding photographer. 

No planning the wedding day with the wedding photographer in mind could mean all the difference in the world. Especially when you consider the pictures are what is going to be captured for a lifetime.

What are the things to think about when making plans with the photographer in mind.  The time and the date.

Let’s begin talking about time.  How many people do you think would want their photographer to rush taking the photos? I am pretty certain that most people, couples especially, will not raise their hand to that thought. 

Not even thinking about your photographer, most of the times the bride and groom will do just that.  They will force the photographer to rush his shots. 

How so you ask?  Well a lot of times, the couple will schedule the ceremony for let’s say 1-2 pm.  With the reception starting at 2:30. How many shots can a photographer make when he only has a half hour to work with?  Not many.

Worse thing to consider, what if he does manage to take all the photos? Do you think they are going to take good quality shots when they are rushed? No way.

So plan the times for the wedding and the reception with enough space in between to take all the photos.

The second thing to think about when doing your planning is to keep the photographer’s availability in mind.

Most probably don’t realize this, but most good photographers will be booked months in advance. Let’s say you are dealing with a large photography company, they probably have a few photographers.

Well planning your wedding without considering your photographer’s availability could turn into a nightmare. Because when you reserve that special day, without making sure your photographer is available, come wedding day you might get a shock when you find somebody totally different.

This happens more than you can imagine when dealing with a big photography company. You may not even realize that they have a staff of photographers and if the photographer you liked is booked, unless you ask, they might not tell you.  When your wedding day comes, they might just outsource their work or a second rate photographer might show up.

So be ready by not letting this happen.  Planning your wedding day is wonderful. Be sure that you also plan it thinking about your wedding photographer.

The bride and groom might have enough to worry about that day as it is. Take all of these things into account when considering which photographer to choose.
