The Campers Have Spoken Through Amazon And So The Winners Are Having A Laugh In In Going To The Bank

Amazon.com has made a list of all the best tents as of the present day.

It’s no surprise that Coleman topped the list. The brand is still the number one outdoor brand. According to Amazon.com, the best tent is Coleman’s Instant 14 by 10 feet tent. This tent is big enought for eight individuals to fit in. The two-door feature is also an attraction for couples who are bringing their family along with them.

Runner up is Swiss Gear Montreaux ten-person family dome tent. There are some who consider this as the best avaiable large tent.

Another dome tent made it to the list, the Columbia Cougar Flats II Family Cabin Dome Tent. This is still new but a lot of people who have purchased this are really satisfied.

My new favorite brand is Eureka and I’m so glad five of its tents made it to the list. Their tents made the fourth up to the seventh spot in the list and also the tenth spot. Eureka is the only brand who had their tents made the majority of the list found in Amazon. The Copper Canyon 1512 Cabin Tent for 12 persons took the fourth spot. This is also one of the more talked about large tents in the camping blogosphere. The owners of the fith through the seventh spots are Copper Canyon 1312 8-person tent, SUnrise 11 Family 6 person tent and Tetragon 1610; all made by Eureka.

Coleman is also determined to develop new tents such as the Weather Master 8 person tent; but there is also a brand Wenzel Kondike who is constantly on the rise with their tents. Maybe this is the kind of hit that the Kondike brand needs to be an outdoors household name.

Rounding up the best tents of 2011 is the Eureka power tent, another large tent from the brand.

The North Face brand is surprisingly not to be found in any list you see in reviews. This is probably a kick in the butt for the outdoor company. More brands are rising and trying to get to the top. There are a lot of brands today that seems to last for a very long time. So, this is a wake up call to North Face…where art thou? Where are your best tents from a couple of years ago and the large tents that were the brand of yesterday?

For Eureka, keep up the good work. Coleman, time to innovate more or the Kondike brand may dominate next year.
