I’ve had the Samsung UN55B8500 since back in November and I did a LOT of research on LCD’s before purchasing it. The colors are vivid, and the blacks actually turn completely black in a dark room. It’s like the TV isn’t straight there. No new LCD on the marketplace has the blacks of this TV, and even Samsung’s new 2010 reasoning give not.
