Ways To Become Batman Or Robin
Who is your favorite superhero? Mine is Batman, the man in black. I just love the Caped Crusader (also known as the Dark Knight or the “Bat”). He is the protector of Gotham City. Any criminals had better beware: he will be on their case along with his trusty companion Robin, the Boy Wonder. Have you ever dreamt of having superpowers such as being able to fly like Superman? Whether you’re young or old, male or female, you can dress up as Batman or Robin and dream of being a great hero, protecting people from the criminals.
The first thing to note is that Batman’s costume was designed to look like a bat so that it would scare off the bad guys. Batman’s mantle has a scalloped hem which represents the bat’s wings and wears a mask with bat-like ears. Over his suit he wears a dark pair of briefs. Batman’s suit is commonly blue and grey and has a yellow utility belt. But in the 1960s TV series, he wears a bluish purple and grey costume. Then, in the various movies the bat suit has been a very menacing-looking all black.
In the movie series Robin takes to wearing a similar costume to Batman but in the comics he always wears yellow, red and green Have you noticed that Robin’s suit looks somewhat medieval? This is because his costume was inspired by Robin Hood! You have two choices if you would like to dress as the Boy Wonder: red tunic, green spandex briefs, yellow cape, yellow utility belt, green boots and gloves, or you can wear black as in the later movies.
What about some Batman gadgets? They’re an vital part of this superhero! No utility belt is complete without some gadgets like bat handcuffs or night vision goggles. Finally, you need to choose a bat vehicle from his large collection. The most well-known of his vehicles is the Batmobile, a long black car with bat-like tail fins. If you’re thinking of venturing into water, what about a bat boat or a bat submarine?
If you are creative and handy with a needle and thread, you could make an effort to make your own Batman and Robin costumes. Another choice is to purchase a ready-made Batman or Robin costume. You’re sure to have great fun dressing up as either Batman or Robin for Halloween or for any fancy dress party. The Batman comics and films are full of captivating characters. One especially interesting costume for women is a Catwoman costume. She’s not completely good or bad.
